Cooper and Isa Go to Mars is a story about two kitten siblings who embark on a grand adventure in space. They discover a box in an old barn and decide to transform it into their spaceship with the help of their friends, Teddy, a young goat, and Eli, a German Shepherd puppy. The group decides to journey to Mars in search of new friends.

During their journey, the rocket experiences a breakdown, and Teddy, the engineer, must fix the ship. Despite his fear of taking a spacewalk to make the repairs, Teddy finds the courage to step outside with the encouragement of his friends. He successfully fixes the ship, and the friends continue their quest.
